We live in a world that is all about achieving instant or quick results with minimal effort. Because of this microwave society, most people will be likely to quit on their long-term goals before they ever reach them. This is exactly why setting short-term, daily goals is important. Setting short term goals helps you to stay on track and to keep moving forward, setting new goals, and growing your level of patience for larger, more long-term goals.
So 10 years ago, this week, I wrote this in my journal… ” September 4, 2007 Life has been a little rough for me, the past couple of weeks. I know, there are people who have it way worse than I do, but in MY world, things haven’t been so great.
We’ve all had those days when someone or some situation catches us off guard, and we behave in a not-so-positive manner. The good news is that you recognize the fact that you weren’t at your best in that situation. Maybe before you would have just kept on that path, because that’s who you were. (more…)
