Pursue Your Own Happiness And Make Your Story Good

Morning Motivation with Andriea DeniseYour story isn’t over. Just think about all that you have been through. Think about all that you have endured up to this point in your life. There is a reason that you are still here. Your experience serves a purpose that is greater than you could ever imagine. I know that I preach about sharing your story, and helping others, but it is important that you do just that.

You may be struggling. You may even be having doubts about the journey that you are currently on, but just remember that you cannot stop in the middle of your journey. This is the part of the movie where you see a person going through the thick of it all. BUT if you just wait a little longer, you will see that person start to rise out of their hardships and into a new, more confident, and powerful being. Every part of your experience should have made you stronger, wiser, more resourceful. All you have to do is take all of the lessons you have learned from those things and finish strong.

Keep pushing! You will find that when you look back on where you have come from that it will have all been worth it. I feel like I’m starting to sound like a broken record…Didn’t I say this recently??? Anyhow, it’s true. Maybe if I keep repeating it, you will allow it to sink in and really start to believe it. Don’t allow your story to fall flat. Make it really good!

One of my favorite movies to watch is The Pursuit of Happyness. The main character takes me through a range of emotions, as he struggles through life, trading one hardship for another. In the end, though, it is all worth everything he went through to finally see his dream come true. In one moment, his life was changed forever. What if he would have given up? What if he had allowed his wife’s negativity to send him into a downward spiral and disregarded his desire to become a stock broker?

Take Action: Pursue your dream until you are living it!

You Hold The Remote Control to Your Life’s Story

Morning Motivation with Andriea DeniseYou are in control. You have control over what you think, what you wear, where you go, what you do, what you eat, who you talk to, etc. Because you have control over so much of your life, you shouldn’t stress when you find that there is something that you can’t control.

Whenever something proves to be out of your control, take your power back by controlling how you respond to the situation. You can always control what happens next. Spend your time focusing on the things that serve you, rather than the things that put you in a negative space. Thinking about something that can’t be changed does nothing but waste your time. Be productive. Be positive. Be proactive.

Move to the next moment, and figure out how you can make things better. Don’t be afraid to ask for help either. We are all here to serve one another in some way. You don’t have to have all of the answers. You can control how you solve an issue. You can control who you go to for help. You can control who you help.

Life is all about choices. I know that I say this a lot, but it’s only because it’s true. You can choose to be down on yourself, thinking about the things that you can’t control or change. OR you can choose to be positive and focus on the things that you do have control over, and focus on the things that you can change.

Take Action: Decide to change your perception, and make the best of the things you have control over.
