We’ve all had those days when someone or some situation catches us off guard, and we behave in a not-so-positive manner. The good news is that you recognize the fact that you weren’t at your best in that situation. Maybe before you would have just kept on that path, because that’s who you were. Read more
Your story isn’t over. Just think about all that you have been through. Think about all that you have endured up to this point in your life. There is a reason that you are still here. Your experience serves a purpose that is greater than you could ever imagine. I know that I preach about sharing your story, and helping others, but it is important that you do just that.
You may be struggling. You may even be having doubts about the journey that you are currently on, but just remember that you cannot stop in the middle of your journey. This is the part of the movie where you see a person going through the thick of it all. BUT if you just wait a little longer, you will see that person start to rise out of their hardships and into a new, more confident, and powerful being. Every part of your experience should have made you stronger, wiser, more resourceful. All you have to do is take all of the lessons you have learned from those things and finish strong.
Keep pushing! You will find that when you look back on where you have come from that it will have all been worth it. I feel like I’m starting to sound like a broken record…Didn’t I say this recently??? Anyhow, it’s true. Maybe if I keep repeating it, you will allow it to sink in and really start to believe it. Don’t allow your story to fall flat. Make it really good!
One of my favorite movies to watch is The Pursuit of Happyness. The main character takes me through a range of emotions, as he struggles through life, trading one hardship for another. In the end, though, it is all worth everything he went through to finally see his dream come true. In one moment, his life was changed forever. What if he would have given up? What if he had allowed his wife’s negativity to send him into a downward spiral and disregarded his desire to become a stock broker?
Take Action: Pursue your dream until you are living it!
Have a fearless day!
Are you screening your friends? You should be. People everywhere are friends with some people, because they weren’t bold enough to say no. I know I’m guilty. I didn’t even think screening friends was a thing, until I became an adult. Some people are only supposed to be in your life for a season. As harsh as it may sound, that is the reality. Read more
Like many other bloggers, I started my blog wanting to cover a long list of topics, and narrowed it down to three: entrepreneurship, self-care/improvement, and relationships. I had my schedule all planned out, and I NEVER missed a post date. (I’m talking like I’ve been doing this since forever. LOL I literally have been running this blog for almost three months now.) Now, as I am growing as a person, I am wondering if I should narrow things down a bit more.
I mean, I am very passionate about all of the topics that I write about, but I have been thinking about only blogging about business. If I do that, I still would include self-improvement elements, because I still believe that improving one’s self leads to success in many areas of one’s life.
Because my readership is still so very low, I don’t really know which direction to go in. I do entrepreneurship coaching, and I offer some web and graphic design services, so it might be better for me to talk shop on my site. Right? Or do people respond more to lifestyle posts??? Read more
