All that matters today is how you respond. What Morning Motivation with Andriea Denisehappens is never as important as how you respond to it. Set an intention and expectation for the day, and look for things that fit within them throughout your day. With the election results, there are many people who will be putting out negative energy today, but you don’t have to accept it or participate in doing the same.

Be mindful of what you want for yourself at all times. Hold onto you ideas of the life that you want. Dismiss anything that doesn’t cater to creating that life, and show others the way. How you respond to situations and circumstances lets you know how far you have come, and how far you still need to grow. If you find that your response it less than desirable, don’t give up and don’t beat yourself up over it. You are human. You get another chance to get it right.

When you are working on something, especially change, you won’t always get it right on the first try. Love yourself enough to allow mistakes to be made. Forgive yourself, and look forward to responding more positively the next time. Go out into the world today ready to respond with love and understanding!

Positive vs Negative Energy

Morning Motivation with Andriea DeniseBe mindful of the energy that you allow into your space. When people emit negative energy, it can easily overtake you, if you are not careful. Once you have set your intentions on what kind of energy you will give out, and what kind of energy you will surround yourself with, you have to be on guard to catch any energies that don’t match your own.

If you are energy sensitive, that is even more of a reason to be on the watch for people whose energies may be different from yours. Don’t assume that it is only people though. Objects carry energy as well. Love yourself enough to check out other people and things in your space. You don’t have to be subjected to negativity.

If nothing else, you should be trying to infect the rest of the world with your positivity. Know who you are and what you will and will not accept. No apologies, and no excuses. Be on the lookout and have a great day!

You Are Enough.

You Are Enough.

Morning Motivation with Andriea DeniseYou are enough. Whatever you have been either telling yourself or allowing other people to tell you that is opposite of that fact, erase it from your mind. Kick those thoughts out, and replace them with this one. God made you the way that he wanted you to be. As I wrote yesterday, you were placed on the earth with all of the tools and chances that you would ever need to create the life that you were purposed to lead.

Think about that for a minute. You already have everything within you to accomplish your goals. You are already on the path to discovering everything else you might need on your journey. Reading these words, right now, may be the very thing that sparks something in you that will cause you to discover your next big idea. You may be inspired to put action behind something that you have been thinking about for a while. Whatever the case, you are enough to execute and to see it through to the end.

Accept that you are enough, and start looking within for some of the answers that you have been searching elsewhere for.

I wish you well on your journey, friend.

How to Come Out of Your Personal Wilderness

How to Come Out of Your Personal Wilderness

In the bible’s book of Exodus, we learn that the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness for 40 years, because they refused to trust God and to do what he asked of them. God rescued them from Egypt, when they were held captive by Pharaoh. They complained and doubted every step of the way. They created their own gods to worship. In doing these things, they hindered their own progress. Their journey of about 200 miles, would have normally taken a couple of weeks to travel. Instead of leaving Egypt and arriving at the Promised Land in Canaan soon after, they spent 40 years struggling in the wilderness. Read more
